Why Resectaur exists
Resectaur was started from a conviction that medical education is about far more than the transfer of facts. The most important things a clinician learns are passed on through apprenticeship, by working alongside experienced practitioners and absorbing the judgement, instinct and wisdom that no textbook can hold. Resectaur exists to make that kind of learning possible at scale: a platform where practising radiologists and other specialists share not just what they know, but how they think.
About the founder
Dr Hament Pandya is a consultant radiologist with more than twenty years of specialist experience. He is a lifelong learner with a particular focus on healthcare innovation, helping to introduce several new clinical services across New Zealand including regional PET-CT, SPECT-CT, and the Allevia One-Stop Head and Neck Clinic. He is also a full-stack software developer with hands-on experience building and deploying AI models for diagnostic imaging. This work has given him rare insight into the enduring importance of human expertise alongside AI in clinical practice.
